On Friday, September 18, Whitney was absolutely thrilled to win a 2026 Dreams Award (Durham Regional Excellence in Arts, Music & Sound) for Solo Artist of the Year (she was also nominated for Album of the Year, and Song of the Year for Curtains of Light.) Whitney was honoured to be nominated for this project and for her work to be recognized by the arts community in Durham.
